PCV valve = positive crankcase ventilation.

Fitting Position: Left hand side below inlet manifold. Hard to see!!!

These fail due to the internal diaphragm leaking and it then upsets the way the engine performs, so having it working correctly helps fuel efficiency and engine performance.

When replacing these please check all the connecting hoses for cracks due to being brittle. We would recommend that you replace all the connecting hoses to the valve, so please check all hoses and the PCV operation to ensure it is repaired correctly.

Sometimes these can be difficult to fit due to the new o'rings, so be patient and push on firm using a smear of oil around the o'rings to aid the fitment.
